IVIG Therapies

At Hometech Therapies, we offer a full spectrum of specialized therapies, including but not limited to IVIG, Factor VIII, and Factor VII & IX Antihemophilics.

Intravenous Immune Globulin (IVIG or IGIV) is a sterile solution of concentrated antibodies extracted from healthy donors which is administered into a vein. IVIG infusion therapy is used to treat disorders of the immune system, such as ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura) and PID (Primary Immune Deficiency disorders) or to boost immune response to serious illness, and to treat immunosuppressed recipients of bone marrow transplants.

Anti-hemophilic factor is a sterile solution of concentrated Factor VII, VIII, or IX, protein substances in the blood plasma that are essential to the blood clotting process. Factor VIII is administered intravenously for the treatment of Factor VIII deficiency, also known as Hemophilia A. Factor IX is administered intravenously for the treatment of Factor IX deficiency, also known as Hemophilia B.
